Djibril Cisse: Park Ji-Sung brings quality, experience and a winning mentality to QPR
The French striker has labelled the South Korean's arrival as 'huge' for the London club, particularly also given the former Red Devil's profile in Asia
QPR striker Djibril Cisse says the addition of Park Ji-Sung to the Rangers squad is a "massive" boost to the club.Park joined the London club earlier this month after seven years at Manchester United and Cisse said his winning experience at Old Trafford would be "huge" for QPR.
“Ji is a massive player,” Cissé told QPR’s website. “He will be huge for us. He’s got a lot of experience having played for a couple of big, big clubs. He’s what we needed – quality, experience, a winning-mentality."
Cisse also said Park's arrival would be a boost for the club's profile worldwide.
“Ji-Sung is a big, big, big star in Asia, so it is great for the club to promote the brand in this area of the world as well,” he said.
Meanwhile, QPR defeated Kelantan 5-0 in the second game of their South-East Asian tour in Kuala Lumpur on Friday. Rangers' next match is in Indonesia against Persipura Jayapura on Monday.
