The South Korea international will return to FC Seoul after 18 months in France, where he decided to leave following Auxerre's relegation from Ligue 1South Korea international striker Jung Jo-Gook has left AJ Auxerre to return to former club FC Seoul.
The K-League outfit confirmed the deal which comes following Auxerre's relegation from France's Ligue 1.
The 28-year-old made more than 250 appearances for Seoul, winning the 2003 K-League Rookie of the Year award, before penning a two-and-a-half-year deal with Auxerre in June 2011.
Jung spent time on loan at Nancy last term, scoring two goals in 21 appearances.
Seoul are currently second in the K-League, one point behind leaders Jeonbuk Motors who Jung is likely to make his debut against next Wednesday.
