The Bundesliga-based South Korean duo secured their top flight status for next season playing their part in goalless draws, while Lee Young-Pyo netted in the MLS
Son Heung-Min and Koo Ja-Cheol both played full games as Hamburg SV and Augsburg confirmed their top flight status for next term in the Bundesliga over the weekend.Son's Hamburg claimed a 0-0 draw at home to FSV Mainz, while Koo played his part as Augsburg grabbed a goalless draw away to fourth-placed Monchengladbach.
Hamburg are now up to 36 points, one point ahead of Augsburg in 14th and 15th respectively, while 16th-placed Koln are back on 30.
Meanwhile in USA's MLS, Lee Young-Pyo netted his first ever goal in the competition with the winner in a 1-0 triumph for Vancouver Whitecaps over Columbus Crew.
Lee, 35, whipped in a 74th-minute free-kick which looped over Columbus keeper Andy Gruenebaum and in for the winner. The Korean's boss Martin Rennie admitted the goal was a "little bit fortuitous".
England
Ji Dong-Won (Sunderland): Was an unused substitute in the 2-2 draw with Bolton.
Lee Chung-Yong (Bolton): Out injured (leg) but is back to training.
Park Chu-Young (Arsenal): Failed to make the squad in his side's 1-1 draw with Stoke City.
Park Ji-Sung (Manchester United): Scheduled to take on Manchester City on Monday.
