Relatively unknown South Korean midfielder Kim In-Sung has joined Russian giants CSKA Moscow after a successful trial with the club.

The 22-year-old, who has never played for the Korean national team nor even in the domestic top flight K-League, arrives from National League side Gangneung City.

The speedy right-winger had impressed during a November trial with the Arena Khimki outfit, before joining their recent trip to Spain, where he has now agreed terms with the Russian Premier League team.

"I'm surprised he hasn't won a cap nor played in the K-League," CSKA manager Leonid Slutsky said according to Sports Chosun.

"His story in joining CSKA is the first time in our club's history. He is adapting well and we are looking forward to having him," the coach stated.

Kim added: "I've always dreamed of playing in Europe and trying to develop my skills. I will use my speed and crossing to compete in Russia."
