Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has today announced his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Germany and the Faroe Islands.
Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne has not been named in the squad, and is instead placed on standby, as the 33-year-old struggles to overcome an injury complaint.
Keith Andrews returns to the squad following suspension, while Birmingham midfielder Keith Fahey has also been included after recovering from injury. Stoke City player Marc Wilson is included in the 23-man squad.
Manchester United winger Robbie Brady has been placed on standby for the game after making his debut against Oman, while Sunderland's James McClean has made the squad following his Twitter controversy.
The Boys in Green will face Germany in Dublin on October 12 before travelling to Torshavn to take on Faroe Islands on October 16.
