1. Sergio Almiron CATANIA v Inter

Catania upset the odds to defeat former Calcio kings Inter and Almiron's clever curler squared the match before the Sicilians ran out 2-1 winners.

2. Dieumerci Mbokani ANDERLECHT v Standard Liege

Mbokani's impudent chip during Anderlecht's 5-0 demolition of Standard Liege in Belgium was the pick of the goals in the runaway victory.

3. Danny Cruz Portland Timbers v HOUSTON DYNAMO

Houston Dynamo showed their class with a 2-0 win at Portland and the game was lit up by Danny Cruz's delicious screamer.

4. Naoshi Nakamura NAGOYA GRAMPUS v Gamba Osaka

Nakamura was on the mark twice in Nagoya Grampus' 4-1 over Gamba Osaka, with his second the pick of the bunch as he beat the goalkeeper with a dipping drive from distance.

Brown got the crowd on their feet with his opener for Gold Coast United as his accurate drive from just outside the area arrowed its way into the net.
