After an exciting fourth round filled with unexpected results to close out the month of March, Goal.com highlights the weekend's performers with our J-League Team of the Week

Team Of The Week:

Week 4

Weekly Roundup

Naoki Hatta
Jubilo Iwata

Hatta has excelled since veteran goalkeeper Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi went down with an injury to his Achilles; he followed last week's win with a clean sheet for two wins in as many appearances.

Yusuke Tanaka
Kawasaki Frontale

Mitsuru Nagata
Urawa Reds

Calvin Jong-a-Pin
Shimizu S-Pulse

Hiroki Fujiharu
Gamba Osaka

Save for Jong-a-Pin, this week's defenders all had to fight hard for the draw. Nagata in particular deserves praise after helping his nine-man Reds scrape a point from their encounter with Frontale.

Toshihiro Aoyama
Sanfrecce Hiroshima

Taisuke Muramatsu
Shimizu S-Pulse

Naoki Fujita
Sagan Tosu

Takuya Matsuura
Jubilo Iwata

Toshiyuki Takagi
Shimizu S-Pulse

At central midfield, Aoyama makes his second straight TOTW appearance with his high technical abilities, while Muramatsu's defensive work was a key to S-Pulse's win and Fujita's hard work up and down the pitch contributed to Sagan's big win.

On the wings, Matsuura supported Jubilo's good form while Takagi's clever goal earned S-Pulse a deserved three points.

Shingo Akamine
Vegalta Sendai

Akamine has been a key part in Vegalta's four straight victories to open the season, and his play this week beat out contenders such as Jubilo's Ryuichi Maeda and Sanfrecce's Hisato Sato.
