We want 10! Timor-Leste's defence has a night to forget

The island nation have made great strides in their third World Cup qualifying competition, but were given a harsh lesson by Asian giants Saudi Arabia who strolled to victory
The 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign has already been a great success for tiny Timor-Leste.

In their third attempt at making football's biggest competition, the island nation surpassed all expectations by battling through the first round for the first time with victory over Mongolia.

Chiquito Do Carmo also wrote his name in history by scoring the first goal of the Russia 2018 qualifying campaign.

The second round, however, proved a bridge too far for the nation, and a punishing 10-0 defeat in Dili to Saudi Arabia showed Timor-Leste still have some way to go before challenging with the best of the Asian continent.
