Watch Lewandowski's deadly double against Wolfsburg

The striker netted a header before curling home from outside the area as the Bavarians claimed the Telekom Cup on Saturday
Robert Lewandowski has wasted little time in showing just why Bayern Munich were so pleased with themselves after persuading the Poland international to join them on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

After scoring a sublime solo goal in Saturday's Telekom Cup clash with Borussia Monchengladbach, the striker went one better against Wolfburg 24 hours later, netting twice in 3-0 win.

Lewandowski underlined that he is a threat both inside and outside the area by heading home a cross from Franck Ribery to open the scoring and then sealing victory for Bayern with a terrific curling effort from the edge of the box.

It may only be early days but, after a transfer window in which Barcelona paid €80 million for Luis Suarez, Lewandowski's free to Bavaria is already looking like the best piece of business of the summer.
