Spanish economic crisis and poor organisation puts future of La Liga in doubt

SPECIAL REPORTEconomic crisis, La Liga's unequal Television deal and high ticket prices have left Spanish football in a "desperate state", according to journalist Sid Lowe.
Speaking to Goal.com, Lowe and Marca's Paco Justicia explain how various factors have combined to ravage football in the country.
The Real Madrid and Barcelona-dominated TV rights deal, tickets that cost €25-30 more than in England, poor match scheduling, an economic crisis and five million unemployed citizens means that the sport is struggling more than ever in Spain.
Matters came to a head in October when la Roja's friendly against Belarus was not televised because of financial restraints.
And with many teams struggling to pay their players, there are fears that the current Liga model is unsustainable.
