Brett Emerton sealed his first ever GOTW victory with over 35 per cent of the vote. The former Blackburn man scored with a delicate chip from outside the box against Perth Glory.

Guangzhou Evergrande's Gao Lin finishes in second place following his goal against Whowin, while former Arsenal star and GOTW veteran Thierry Henry finds himself in third.

Emile Heskey, making his debut in our weekly pick of the best goals, finishes fifth.
