Tottenham transfer target Loic Remy hit the target for Marseille again last night in a French League Cup victory over Caen.

Remy, who has entered double figures for scoring this season, netted with a simple finish from close range, while Mathieu Valbuena's brace made for a comfortable victory for Didier Deschamp's side.

Remy was previously linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs before making the move to Marseille in 2010.

But Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp confirmed on Tuesday that he is still interested in the possibility of signing the player.

"He's a good player," Redknapp said. "He's a player we like and there's interest there.

He added: "There is interest there. But that is as far [as it goes]. At the moment, there is nothing more than that."
