Two Long Range Golazos From Saturday: Mickael Ciani (Bordeaux-Lorient) & Emilio Hernandez (Gimnasia La Plata-Argentinos Juniors)

Andrea Pirlo wasn't the only one to score a stunner on Saturday.

Probably the best goal scored anywhere around the world on Saturday was Andrea Pirlo's cracker at Parma but there were some other strikes well worth flagging up.

In France, Mickael Ciani (pictured) secured a 1-0 win for Bordeaux with an excellent lob from just inside the Lorient half. The 26-year-old central defender capitalised on an inaccurate long throw from Carrasso by winning the ball and striding from the halfway line before lobbing the Lorient keeper with a brilliant long range hit.

The other fine long range hit was scored in Argentina by Emilio Hernandez for Argentinos Juniors in their 4-2 win over Gimnasia La Plata.

Argentinos came back from conceding an early goal to go 3-1 up at the break with the third goal coming from Hernandez who spotted Gimnasia goalkeeper Gaston Sessa off his line and produced an incredible free-kick from distance.

Emilio Hernandez's brilliant lob can be seen on the video below.
