VIDEO: Spain U-21 Star Sergio Canales Scores Ingenious Goal Against Poland

The first thing to point out about the Spanish Under-21 side that won 1-0 in Poland tonight is that the amount of talent available is simply stunning.

The likes of David De Gea, Javi Martinez, Diego Capel, Juan Mata and Sergio Canales all appeared for the Under-21s in Poland.

In July, we highlighted the ingenuity of the young Spanish team at the Under-19 European Championships. First there was Ezequiel Calvente's "switch-hit penalty" against Italy and then Sergio Canales scored an ingenious free-kick versus England.

Real Madrid starlet Sergio Canales was again on the end of an exact replica of the goal that Spain scored against England, this time in tonight's match against Poland. The fact that it came with five minutes remaining to win the game 1-0 is just reward for what must be a lot of work on the training ground.

Yet again, Barcelona starlet Thiago Alcantara was the provider with the surprise chip over the wall and Sergio Canales made no mistake from close range after peeling away from the edge of the wall.
