VIDEO: West Brom's Mascot Refused To Shake Steven Gerrard's Hand

A brilliant third eye in which the Liverpool captain was the fall-guy.

Apologies for the slightly delayed nature of this video.

In the last round of Premier League matches before the international break, Liverpool edged West Brom 1-nil at Anfield with Fernando Torres netting the winner.

Away from the football though, a brilliant piece of footage was caught on camera at the start of the match as the West Brom mascot refused to shake Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard's hand as the two teams met before kick-off.

In a classic third eye, Stevie G bent down to shake the blonde boy's hand but the Scouse legend was publicly burned as the kid kept his hands by his side.

The Steven Gerrard snub can be seen below:

This isn't the first time that Gerrard has been owned by a mascot, as back in 2007 the Scouse skipper fell victim to a legendary prank by a pocket-sized Chelsea fan.

Relive that golden moment here.
