On Monday, in our regular top bloopers of the week round-up, we flagged up a couple of horrendous misses. There was Carlos Tevez's open goal fluff for Manchester City against Sunderland, while slightly less well known was Piotr Gierczak's horror show for Polish outfit Gornik Zabrze in the match with Ruch Chorzow.

Now we have a third loser to flag up. Step forward Marco Perez.

Zaragoza's 19-year-old Colombian hitman was guilty of a horror miss at the weekend against Deportivo. The teenager was faced with the simplest of opportunities as he looked to turn a left-sided pass into an open net from just two yards out. But Perez's effort was appalling and the youngster managed to aid the Depor backline with his shockingly bad attempt on target.

The other contenders for miss of the season include Colorado Rapids forward Conor Casey, then Santos striker Robinho, Stromsgodset's Ola Kamara and CSKA Sofia's Rui Miguel.
