The Bit o’ Red have been in fantastic form this season, having lost just one of their 22 league matches so far this term, and Ian Baraclough’s men are chalked up as warm favourites at 2/5 (1.40) with Paddy Power to pick up another three points.
Bohemians have been beaten seven times in 11 outings on the road this season and they are priced up at a chunky 13/2 (7.50) with Paddy Power to end Sligo’s unbeaten record at Showgrounds this term with victory here. The same firm offer 16/5 (4.20) that the match ends in a draw.Sligo were held at Richmond Park by St Patrick’s Athletic on Friday afternoon but will feel confident of getting back to winning ways here.
Rovers have conceded just seven goals in their 11 home matches this term and look like outstanding value at 11/10 (2.10) to win to nil against a side that has managed just 21 goals in 22 league matches this term.
Sligo’s charge towards the title has been slightly hampered by the loss of striker Danny North, who scored an impressive 15 goals in 17 outings for the Bit o’ Red, before suffering a season-ending knee injury back in July.
The mantle, though, has been taken up by Mark Quigley with the forward scoring seven goals in 18 appearances for Ian Baraclough’s side this season, and the Irish striker can be backed at 16/5 (4.20) to score the first goal of the game on Monday night.A 1-0 home win is chalked up at 4/1 (5.0) with Paddy Power while the Irish bookmaker offers a quote of 5/1 (6.0) for a 2-0 win for the Bit o’ Red.
After finishing second in the Irish Premier League last campaign, Ian Baraclough’s side are desperate to go one better this term and can be trusted to pick up another three points here to take them one step closer to winning the title the Bit O’ Red faithful craves.
