thumbnail Hello,

Manuel Pellegrini's side are looking good - expect them to be too strong for the Italians, making the price of 5/6 for a City win highly attractive

Having recorded a comfortable 4-1 win over Sporting Kansas City in their opening game of their tour of USA, Premier League champions Manchester City travel to Pittsburgh to face AC Milan in the International Champions Cup.

The Italians should provide sterner opposition than the MLS side although the Rossoneri know that
the forthcoming season is a crucial one as they attempt to recover from the ingnominy of finishing eighth in the previous campaign.

City are understably clear favorites at 5/6 (1.83) with bet365 while Milan can be backed at 16/5 (4.20) and the draw is offered at 13/5 (3.60).

However, there seems to be no good reason whatsover for not backing a win for Manchester City given everything we know about the two teams.

Milan are a side in transition hoping to recover from what was one of their worst seasons in recent history.

They have some talented players but in general terms of personnel they are now way below City as European footballing power, despite their seven European Cups. Couple that with their 3-0 defeat to Olympiakos earlier this week and they make for outsiders in this one.

City for their part have a strong side and are building with some shrewd signings, making them one of the favourites for the Premier League title.

Some punters out there may be tempted by the price of 4/5 (1.80) for over 2.5 goals, but backing a win for the Blues looks a better option at a slightly bigger price.
