Real Valladolid-Barcelona Betting Preview: Why the visitors will win but concede in the process

Our La Liga expert, Phil Kitromilides, thinks that the champions' recent run of conceding on the road will continue but that will not stop them picking up three points
One win in 10 league matches hase left Valladolid unable to move themselves out of the relegation zone and things get even tougher for Juan Igancio Martinez's men this weekend with the visit of Barcelona.

Yet despite failing to win many matches recently Valladolid have proved to be difficult to beat at home having lost just one of their last nine league games at the Estadio Jose Zoriila and William Hill price them at 12/1 (13.00) to record a much needed victory.

A win for Barca is just as important but for very different reasons, with the Catalans knowing three points would put them top of the table as Real Madrid play on Sunday.

Tata Martino's men can be backed at 2/9 (1.22) with the draw offered at 5/1 (6.00).

The gulf in quality between the two sides should see the visitors pick up a win, but Valladolid are more than capable of scoring. Los blanquivioletas have netted in all but three of their 12 league matches at home this season, while Barca have conceded in five of their last six matches on the road.

All this then points to a win for Barcelona and both teams scoring which is offered at a tempting price of 8/5 (2.60).

This bet has paid out 15 times in Barca's competitive fixtures this season including when the two sides met at the Camp Nou back in October and looks to be an excellent selection offered at generous odds.
