Our man in Spain, Phil Kitromilides, believes that the champions will take full advantage of the division's leakiest defence
The Catalans suffered a surprise 3-2 defeat at the hands of Valencia in their last league game at Camp Nou, but Rayo are unlikely to cause them many problems on Saturday night and Paddy Power price a home win at the almost unbackable price of 1/12 (1.08).
The visitors, meanwhile, who have spent the vast majority of the season in the relegation zone, can be backed at 25/1 (26.00) while the draw is offered at 9/1 (10.00).
Given that Rayo have the joint worst defence in the Primera Division having conceded 52 times this season, goals look to be on the agenda and normally our bet for this game would be over 1.5 goals in the first half.
Yet it is offered at 4/6 (1.65) which is perhaps too small for us to consider outright, although it is still a good option to be included in a multiple.
Slightly bigger is the price of 8/11 (1.72) for Barcelona to win with a -2 goal handicap and this looks like an absolutely nailed on selection.
It has paid out 11 times already this season in matches at Camp Nou, with Rayo losing by three goals or more in seven league matches including at home earlier in the campaign against Barcelona.
The odds are not enormous but given the disparity between the two sides they could conceivably be much smaller meaning that this selection offers decent value.
