After a minor profitable weekend a week ago, check out this week's advised bets which span Germany, Spain and EnglandWell last weekend we again showed a small profit with Sunderland drawing 2-2 against Southampton. Each week I will present up to three selections a week from the top four European Leagues, meaning that you only need one of the three games to end level to show a profit. Please remember that you are backing the draw and losing runs are inevitable so keep stakes reasonable.
This weekend our selections come from the Bundesliga, Spain's La Liga and the English Premier League.
On Saturday, we go over to Germany where the Bundesliga recommences after the winter break and our match here is Eintracht Frankfurt who are taking on a Hertha Berlin side who have had an excellent first half to the season which sees them sitting in fourth place - just four points from a Champions League spot.
Frankfurt's home record to teams of Hertha Berlin's grading reads won four, drawn five and lost one. When looking at their general record Frankfurt have drawn four of their last six home games.
When looking at Joe Luhukay's side, they have drawn six of their last 10 away games to teams of Frankfurt's standing. Here the draw can be backed at 12/5 (3.40) with William Hill and this looks to offer value.
On Sunday, we go over to La Liga where struggling Almeria are hosting mid-table Getafe. When facing teams of Getafe's grading Almeria boast a won three, drawn four and lost three record. When Getafe have faced the bottom sides in La Liga they have drawn three of their last 10 away matches.
Getafe have not drawn any of their nine away games this season but the above stats suggest that there is some value in backing the stalemate at 9/4 (3.25) with William Hill.
Finally, on Wednesday in the Premier League we have a West Midlands derby with Aston Villa facing their bitter rivals West Bromwich Albion at Villa Park. When looking at Villa's record against teams of the Baggies stature we see that the record reads won four, drawn three and lost three.
When looking at West Brom's stats they have drawn four of their last 10 when visiting teams of Aston Villa's grading. Indeed, Pepe Mel's side have drawn six of their nine away games this season.
Also it should be noted that the last four league meetings between these two sides have all ended in a stalemate. Here the draw can be backed at 12/5 (3.40) with William Hill and this looks value given the above stats.
Eintracht Frankfurt v Hertha Berlin – Draw @ 12/15 (3.40) William Hill
Almeria v Getafe – Draw @ 9/4 (3.25) William Hill
