Pete's selections returned a profit last weekend and he's targetting three more draws with his picks from Serie A and La LigaIt’s week two of the Drawmaster selections on Goal.com and last weekend we showed a small profit with Fiorentina drawing 0-0 at Torino.
Each week I will present up to three selections a week from the top four European Leagues. The high odds on draws in most games mean that you only need one of the three games to end level to show a profit. Please remember that you are backing the draw and losing runs are inevitable so keep stakes reasonable.
This weekend our selections come from the Premier League and Serie A.
On Saturday lunchtime we go to the Stadium of Light where Sunderland take on Southampton. The Black Cats will be full of confidence after beating Manchester United in the Capital One Cup and gaining three points away at Fulham last weekend. A victory here and Sunderland will out of the bottom three too.
Sunderland’s home record to teams of Southampton’s grading reads won two, drawn five and lost three. When looking at Mauricio Pochettino’s side they have drawn six of their last 15 away games. Last season at the Stadium of Light the game ended 1-1 and here the draw can be backed at 23/10 (3.30) with William Hill.
On Sunday afternoon in the Serie A, Chievo take on Parma. After losing eight of their opening 10 matches Chievo’s form has improved and they have now climbed out of the relegation zone.
Chievo have drawn five of their last 13 home games, and when playing teams of Parma’s stature their record reads won three, drawn four and lost three. When looking at Parma’s stats they have drawn three of their last 10 away to teams of Chievo’s stature.
When looking at the general form Parma have drawn five of their last eight Serie A matches and when looking at the recent head-to-head matches at Chievo there has been three draws from four matches.
Interestingly, Chievo have been level at the break in nine of their last 11 matches and the Half time draw can be backed at 21/20 (2.05) with bet365. Otherwise the draw is available to back at 11/5 (3.20) with be365
Finally we go to last weekend’s surprise winners Sassuolo, who beat AC Milan 4-3 after going two goals down in the opening 15 minutes. This weekend they face a Torino side that have drawn five of their last 10 away to the bottom sides.
In this match the half time draw also looks attractive and has been seen in five of Sassuolo’s last seven home matches and this can be backed at 11/10 (2.10) with bet365. Otherwise, the draw can be backed at 23/10 (3.30) with William Hill.
