Our man in Spain, Phil Kitromilides, is backing the visitors' run of scoring in Catalunya to continue on Saturday nightAfter a comfortable 6-1 home win over Celtic in the Champions League midweek, Barcelona play their last league match of the year at Camp Nou on Saturday evening and the Catalans will be aware that they might not have things all their own way.
Visiting Villarreal have excited on their return to the Primera Divison this season and have managed draws against both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid thus far.
Those two results for the Yellow Submarine did come at home, however, and on their home turf Barcelona remain 3/10 (1.30) favorites with BetVictor, while an away win is offered at 17/2 (9.50).
One bet, though, stands out a mile and that is backing both teams to score at 8/11 (1.73). Barcelona have conceded goals in six of their last seven matches, while Villarreal have scored in each of their last five.
Those aformentioned results against the two capital clubs saw Villarreal score against two of the best defences in the division, and they are more than capable of netting at Camp Nou where they have a history of giving a decent account of themselves.
The side from Castellon have netted in four of their last five away matches against Barcelona, with this bet paying out in six of their last nine meetings.
The price is not huge but it is bigger than some other bookmakers are offering and is well worth consideration as a stand-alone bet or as part of a multiple.
