thumbnail Hello,

Real Betis will be prioritising their weekend match in La Liga according to Spanish expert Phil Kitromilides making Lyon good value at 10/11 for the win

Both these two sides are struggling domestically making tonight's game something of a distraction from their main priority, namely moving up their respective league tables.

After a 4-0 thrashing by city rivals Sevilla on Sunday, Betis remain bottom of the Primera Division, while Lyon who once ruled France as the dominant force of Ligue 1 are languishing in seventh place.

William Hill make the hosts clear favorites at 10/11 (1.91) while Betis are offered at 7/1 (8.00). The draw is priced at 12/5 (3.40).

Yet the Spanish side's entire focus will be on Sunday's must win game at home to Rayo Vallecano, the team just above them in the table.

Despite their domestic woes, Betis remain top of Group I in the Europa League and could afford to lose this game and still almost certainly go through.

Lyon meanwhile have improved a little of late managing two wins and a draw from their last three league games, with the French side consistently scoring.

Indeed they have netted in eight of their last nine league matches, and should they do so again against a despondent Betis side it should be enough to set them on their way to victory.

All of this therefore means that backing a win for Lyon at 10/11 (1.91) looks like a bet well worthy of consideration.
