Phil Kitromilides think the Catalans will have little trouble against a struggling Osasuna side when they meet on SaturdayTraveling to Osasuna used to be a fixture to strike fear into the hearts of Spain's big clubs. The vitriolic atmosphere mixed with the more often than not inhospitable climatic conditions made for a thoroughly tricky trip.
Osasuna have never been the most gifted side, but their robust style and intimidating ground made them one of the toughest teams to visit in La Liga.
Yet over the last 12 months, that image has been slowly eradicated, and while the crowd remain unfriendly and the Pamplona air cold and swirling, the team has been failing to produce on the pitch.
Indeed, Osasuna have lost three of their four home matches this season, with Levante the latest unlikely victors to triumph at the Reyno de Navarra stadium.
BetVictor offer odds of 11/1 (12.00) for the home side to pull off a famous win, but there is little reason to think they can replicate their form of previous seasons.
Barcelona, for their part, are offered at 1/4 (1.25) with the draw available at 11/2 (6.50).
Finding value in backing Barcelona is a little easier with them on the road and the price of 11/8 (2.38) for them to win both halves looks to be well worthy of some consideration.
Osasuna have been leaking goals at the back, while lacking a cutting edge up front having sold main striker Enrique "Kike" Sola to Athletic Bilbao in the summer.
They simply do not possess the players to trouble Barca. This bet has paid out in each of the Blaugrana's last two away games, and against a poor Osasuna team it has every chance of doing so once more at a very tempting price.
