With the home side in great scoring form and Dallas struggling defensively, Phil Kitromilides is predicting at least two goals for the ImpactFC Dallas head to Canada hoping to end their disastrous recent run of form.
The Texans are without a win in seven games and are in danger of slipping out of the the play-off places following their excellent start to the season.
Paddy Power price them at 12/5 (3.40) to claim a victory against a Montreal side who will be hoping to bounce back from the 4-0 drubbing they received at the hands of New York Red Bulls last weekend.
The Canadians are offered at evens (2.00) for the win, with the draw available at 11/5 (3.20).
The bookies clearly think there will be goals in this one, with both teams to score offered at 8/15 (1.53) and over 2.5 goals at 8/13 (1.62).
Neither of those bets appeal at the prices quoted, but backing goals in some way does seem to be the way forward.
Given Montreal's scoring record at home, and Dallas' current defensive woes, investing in the Impact to score two or more at 4/5 (1.80) looks a great bet.
This selection has paid out in five of the Canadians' last six home games and in Marco Di Vaio they boast the league's top scorer.
Dallas, for their part, have kept just one clean sheet in their last seven matches and that was against arguably the worst team in the MLS, Chivas USA. Furthermore Dallas have conceded two goals or more in five of their last seven matches, making this bet an extremely tempting proposition.
