Tony Pulis' apparent decision to leave Stoke City after seven years with the Potters mean he will join the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Roberto Mancini, David Moyes and Rafael Benitez in moving on from their posts.

Questions over whether or not it is the right time for Pulis to move on may be asked but it's undeniable that the Welsh boss did well in ensuring Stoke continued to play their football in the Premier League, even guiding the club to a place in the Europa League and an FA Cup final during his spell in charge.

Former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo is the joint 5/1 (5.00) favourite with BetVictor.

Gus Poyet, who has been suspended by current club Brighton and looks set to leave the south coast club before the start of the next campaign, is available to back at 10/1 (11.0) to take charge of the Potters.

There's also been money for Philp Neville (11/1) in the early going although given his lack of managerial experience would the Stoke board be prepared to take a chance on him when compared to more experienced candidates that are available?

Rafael Benitez has been the subject of the first major gamble now trading at at 5/1 (12.0) and although there have been stories linking him with Napoli in recent weeks, his family are still based in Liverpool which could explain the falling price from early quotes of around 20/1 (21.0).

Martin O'Neill is priced at 25/1 (26.0) to make an immediate return to the Premier League after leaving Sunderland recently.

Neil Lennon is also a 25/1 (26.0) shot while Crewe boss Steve Davies, who is a highly rated younger manager is available at the same price.
