With Betis almost always scoring at home and Getafe enjoying their best run of the season, our La Liga expert Phil Kitromilides believes there will be goals at either end
Though erratic at times this season, Betis have maintained a strong home record at the Estadio Benito Villamarin and are unbeaten there this year, winning their last two matches. The price of 10/11 (1.91) offered by William Hill for a home victory looks in theory appealing and would ordinarily be well worth snapping up.
However, given Getafe's recent run of form, it is difficult to oppose the side from the suburbs of Madrid, with Luis Garcia's men the form team in the division.
Four wins in their last five matches have lifted Geta from the relative obscurity of mid-table to within touching distance of dreamland, and a win tonight - priced at 7/2 (4.50) - would see them move to within two points of a Champions League spot.
With Betis strong at home and Getafe enjoying their best run of the season, a case could be made for backing either side, but what looks like being the best bet tonight is investing in both teams to score at 10/11 (1.91).
Betis, for their part, have a habit of scoring in their own stadium and have only failed to find the back of the net once in their last 32 matches there in all competitions.
Getafe, meanwhile, have scored in six of their last seven games and have not found goals tough to come by this season, scoring against the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Malaga.
The statistics for both teams to score therefore make a pretty compelling case, yet for those punters looking for some higher odds, the price of 4/1 (5.00) for Betis' Ruben Castro to score first should be of interest as a value bet.
