With the hosts looking strong at home and the visitor's recent games full of goals, Phil Kitromilides is backing a home win with over 2.5 goals in the game
Romania for their part are in the running for a play-off spot, and Friday's 2-2 draw at their direct rivals Hungary, will have given them some hope of claiming second place in the table.
Yet only the most optimistic of Romanian could forsee anything other than a Dutch win on Tuesday night, and William Hill price Louis van Gaal's side at just 3/10 (1.33) to claim all three points. Romania, meanwhile, are offered at 9/1 (10.00) and the draw can be backed at 15/4 (4.75).
Given Romania's defence, there could well be some goals on the cards with Victor Piturca's men involved in some high-scoring matches recently.
Having conceded eight goals in their last three games, Romania certainly need to tighten up at the back if they are to qualify for the tournament, but that could prove tricky against a Netherlands side with a stunning array of attacking talent.
Backing Van Gaal's men to score over 1.5 goals looks a nailed on selection, but at 4/9 (1.44) the price is not overly appealing.
Instead, invest in a home win with over 2.5 goals scored in the match which is available at the infinitely more attractive price of 10/11 (1.91).
Each one of Romania's last five matches has comfortably gone over 2.5 goals, and with the hosts in ominous form at home in qualifying, another high-scoring Dutch win looks extremely likely. Furthermore this bet easily paid out when the two sides met back in October during a 4-1 victory to Netherlands.
For a value bet back over 3.5 goals to be scored in the match at 21/10 (3.10), a bet which has paid out in six of Romania's last nine games.
