League Two treble: Home wins for Burton and Northampton plus goals at both ends at Kingsmeadow

Regardless of the international break, there is plenty of action to choose from in England's fourth tier. Al Hain-Cole has picked out three games for a treble worth just over 5/1
League Two Treble
Burton Albion
Wycombe Wanderers
Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
Tip: Burton Albion to win at 17/20 (1.85) with William Hill

After steering Burton to safety following the sacking of previous boss Paul Peschisolido last season, Gary Rowett has now taken the modest Midlands club to the brink of promotion to the third tier for the first time in their history.

He has done so largely by turning the Pirelli Stadium into a fortress, as 14 wins and just two defeats in 19 games gives the Brewers the best home record in League Two.

This proud record looks likely to be improved upon this Saturday, when Rowett’s men welcome a Wycombe team in danger of being sucked into a relegation battle.

The Chairboys have lost their last two games on the spin away from home, meaning they have come away empty-handed from five of their last eight fixtures on the road.

A 10th consecutive home win looks assured here, and should be backed at William Hill’s generous price of 17/20 (1.85).

Northampton Town
Oxford United
Kick off: 15:00 GMT
Tip: Northampton to win at 11/10 (2.10) with William Hill

Only Northampton have won as many home games as Burton this season, and Aidy Boothroyd’s team will be hoping to continue this streak when they host Oxford United.

The Cobblers seem certain to at least secure a playoff place, but with just four points separating them from an automatic promotion spot and a game in hand, they will be looking up rather than down.

The hosts have won their last eight games at the Sixfields Stadium, and have also come out on top in the last five consecutive home meetings against The U’s.

Chris Wilder’s men have enjoyed a decent run recently, but home defeats to Rotherham and Chesterfield in their last four games suggest they may be running out of steam as the season draws to a close.

Considering their irrepressible home record, odds of 11/10 (2.10) seem far too good to miss on a Northampton win in this game.

AFC Wimbledon
Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
Both teams to score at 8/13 (1.62) with Paddy Power

Last weekend’s surprising 4-0 defeat against relegation-threatened Accrington Stanley can only have served to remind Wimbledon that they are far from safe yet.

The Dons had looked to be creeping away from the drop zone after three consecutive wins, but the thrashing at the Crown Ground will have left them extra motivated to collect maximum points when Morecambe come to town.

However, Neil Ardley’s men will probably need to be in prolific form in order to emerge victorious, as they possess the worst defensive record in the league, with 68 goals conceded in 39 games.

With a clean sheet looking highly unlikely, the hosts will have to hope that the Shrimpers continue to display their own defensive fragility that has seen them concede in 15 of the last 16 away league games.

A bet on both teams to score would have paid out in each of the last seven games at the Cherry Red Records Fans’ Stadium, as well as six of the guests’ last seven on the road, and is therefore surely where the money lies at 8/13 (1.62) in this match.
