Pete hit another winner last week and this weekend he's focusing on the Premier League with two selections including at least one team to keep a clean sheet at Old TraffordWell last weekend we managed to find one winner from our two selections when Rayo Vallecano defeated Espanyol 2-0.
As always we are following a system bet and you are advised to keep stakes reasonable and always try and obtain the best price available.
This weekend our two selections both come from the Premier League. Our first match features a top against bottom clash when table-toppers Manchester United face relegation-threatened Reading at Old Trafford.
The Manchester United machine just keeps rolling on and Sir Alex Ferguson’s side have now registered 14 wins from their last 16 matches and look almost certain to regain the title this season.
This weekend they are against a Reading side where manager Brian McDermott was relieved of his duties earlier in the week and it doesn’t look as if they are in a rush to appoint a successor.
Manchester United have an excellent record against teams of Reading’s standard and their recent record reads won 10, drawn none and lost none and in these 10 victories seven have been to nil.
Looking at the Royals 14 away matches this season both teams have found the net in eight of these matches.
However, a visit to Old Trafford is never easy and Manchester United can be backed to win this game to nil at 5/6 (1.83) with Bet365 which may be more tempting than our No on both teams to score which can be backed at 8/11 (1.73) with bet365.
For our next match we head over to White Hart Lane where Spurs under the guidance of Andre Villas-Boas are having a superb season and on Sunday they will try and cement their top-four place when they take on west London rivals Fulham.
When Spurs have faced teams of Fulham’s grading their record reads: won seven, drawn three and lost none and both teams have scored in only three of these matches.
When we look at how Martin Jol’s side have performed against similar opposition to Spurs we see that their form is poor with a won one, drawn one and lost eight record, with again both teams scoring in only three of these matches.
When looking at the recent head-to-head matches we see that the record reads Spurs four wins one draw and Fulham no wins with both teams scoring in only one of these matches.
As with the Manchester United game the stats above suggest Spurs are a good bet to win to nil which can be backed at 11/8 (2.38) with Bet 365 whilst the No on both teams to score can be backed at 4/5 (1.80) again with bet365.
