Malaga-Atletico Madrid Betting Preview: Why both teams to score offers the best value

With the two teams in excellent scoring form, our La Liga expert believes the price of 4/5 for goals at either end is just too good to turn down on Sunday
A huge game for both sides on Sunday at La Rosaleda as second-placed Atletico Madrid travel to Malaga in fourth with both sides needing the points to maintain their current positions in the table.On paper it looks like a tricky one to call with Coral at least unable to split the two teams pricing them both at 13/8 (2.62) for the win, with the draw offered at 9/4 (3.25). In occasions such as this is can often pay dividends to turn to another market in search of profit.
If the winner of the match is hard to call, what looks a lot more straightforward is trying to predict whether there will be goals in the match or not and analysing previous results, it appears that there should be goals at both ends. Malaga have been in genuinely excellent scoring form at home having netted in each one of their last 17 league matches.
Atletico for their part have had no problems at all finding the net this season having only failed to score in three of their 25 fixtures in La Liga. Bearing all this in mind then, one might expect the price for Both Teams to Score to be prohibitively small, yet it is offered at the seemingly huge odds of 4/5 (1.80) with Coral.
This selection therefore looks simply too good to turn down, and has paid out in four of Malaga's last five home league matches.
For a value bet back Malaga to win the first half at 23/10 (3.30) which has paid out in two of their last three home matches, and has a decent chance of doing so again, given that Atleti were involved in a bruising Copa del Rey semi final against Sevilla on Wednesday night.
