AC Milan-Barcelona Betting Preview: Why both teams to score is the best option

A resurgent AC Milan host Barcelona in a genuine clash of European titans. Having won four of the last seven Champions League titles between them, these two sides are extremely familiar with the travails of knockout ties, and Coral price the visitors as clear favourites to claim a victory on Wednesday. Barcelona can be backed at 8/15 (1.53) with Milan offered at 11/2 (6.50) and the draw available at 14/5 (3.80).After a disastrous start to their domestic campaign Milan have improved drastically in recent weeks, unbeaten in Serie A this year, with four wins in their last five matches. This upturn in form has coincided somewhat with the arrival of Mario Balotelli, although the former Manchester City striker is ineligible to feature in this encounter.
Nevertheless, Milan have looked sharp, and have been scoring goals which makes the price of 73/100 (1.73) for both teams to score look extremely tempting. The Rossoneri have scored at least two goals in each of their last six matches at San Siro. Barcelona for their part have scored in each of their last 26 matches away from the Camp Nou, yet recently have struggled to keep clean sheets on the road.
Indeed the Catalans have conceded in each of their last seven away games and while they always look likely to score, defensively this has been far from their most solid season.
