With the final few hours of January always a busy time for football clubs, Paddy Power are offering odds on who will be the last to seal a deal on deadline day

For some clubs, the January transfer window can mean a month of fending off interest in their best players from potential suitors, while for others it is the final opportunity to add to their ranks ahead of the crucial run in.

One thing is for sure, January 31 will be just as hectic as it has been in years gone by, with many clubs choosing to leave the majority of their transfer dealings until the last possible minute. With this in mind, Paddy Power are offering odds on which Premier League club will make the final signing of the current transfer window.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, QPR are the favourites at 13/2 (6.5), they look worthy market leaders given how active Harry Redknapp has been on deadline days gone by.

With his squad improving results, but still battling potential relegation, it seems likely that Redknapp will be kept busy on the final day of the month, but will he be the final boss to seal a deal?

Reading are another side who are a short price for a return to the Championship and Brian McDermott will be looking to bring in some new recruits in order to try and avoid his side slipping back into the second tier at the first time of asking.

The Royals are 8/1 (9.0) to make the final signing of the window.

Aston Villa and Southampton are both 10/1 (11.0) chances, while Tottenham at 12/1 (13.0) may interest some punters given how active Andre Villas-Boas was at the end of the summer transfer window. He completed deals for Clint Dempsey and Hugo Lloris plus bringing Joao Moutinho to north London before failing to finalise a deal for the Portugal international.

With the 26-year-old still linked with a move to White Hart Lane alongside the likes of Willian, Spurs could be one of the busier Premier League clubs on deadline day and if Daniel Levy is prepared for a late night in the office, there is every chance that they could be the last club to finalise a deal.

Sunderland and Wigan are both 14/1 (15.0) shots to make the final signing of the window while most of the clubs at the top of the table are huge prices to leave their dealings to the last minute.

Manchester City and Chelsea are both 16/1 (17.0) while Manchester United are the rank outsiders at 33/1 (34.0).
