Tip: Manchester City to win at 11/20 (1.55) with Marathon Bet

Whilst Manchester City have drawn criticism for their supposedly unconvincing start to the season, Everton have been roundly praised for their early form.

However, a closer inspection of the form guide reveals that the hosts are unbeaten in the Premier League, with nine wins and five draws to their name, while the Toffees have won just one of their last eight games.

The main cause for concern among City supporters had been the unreliable defending from their usually solid backline, but they seem to have resolved this issue in recent games, having conceded just once in the last six league encounters.

The picture looks even better for Roberto Mancini’s men at the Etihad Stadium, where they have won 29 of their last 31 Premier League matches, while Everton have just three victories on the road in 17 attempts.

The momentum is clearly in the Premier League champions favour at the moment, and they make a solid choice for the win at odds of 11/20 (1.55) with Marathon Bet.

Swansea City
Kick off: 15:00 GMT
Tip: Arsenal to win at 23/50 (1.46) with Marathon Bet

Arsenal and Swansea are currently just one point apart in the Premier League, much to the credit of Michael Laudrup and the discomfort of Arsene Wenger.

The Frenchman will be hoping to put things right when the Swans visit the Emirates on Saturday, in his side's first home match since their memorable 5-2 victory in the North London derby.

Swansea may have been in impressive form recently, but have only taken four points from the last possible 15 on the road, and have never won in beaten Arsenal away from home.

Only Chelsea have beaten the Gunners in their own back yard this season, and Wenger’s men have triumphed by an aggregate scoreline of 12-4 in three of the other four most recent matches at Emirates Stadium.

After two successive draws away from home, the hosts should have enough about them to pick up the victory they so crave, available at odds of 23/50 (1.46).

West Bromwich Albion
Stoke City
Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
West Brom to win at 21/20 (2.05) with Marathon Bet

A 3-1 defeat away to Swansea brought West Brom’s four-game winning streak to an end on Wednesday, but that result won’t spoil the Baggies buoyant mood.

Only Manchester City have come away from the Hawthorns with anything to show for their efforts in the league this season, as Steve Clarke’s men have picked up six wins from the other seven fixtures.

Visitors Stoke are enjoying a decent run of form themselves at the moment, but their record of one win in the last 20 Premier League away fixtures does not bode well for a visit to one of the most difficult away grounds around.

Indeed, The Potters have only scored three goals in their last five games on the road, so should have their work cut out against a side that have kept four clean sheets in seven on home turf this season.

Expect West Brom to get back to winning ways in this one, at generous 21/20 (2.05) odds.
