Real Valladolid - Real Sociedad Betting Preview: Why a home win looks likely

After another winner over the weekend, our Spanish expert Phil Kitromilides returns and he's backing Sociedad's poor away form to continue in Valladolid
Monday night's offering in La Liga this week can be described as one for the purists as Real Sociedad make the journey from San Sebastian to the city of Valladolid.It might not be pretty, but that does not mean punters should be deterred from investing in this game, as Sociedad's woeful away form make Real Valladolid an attractive option at 21/20 (2.05) with William Hill.
La Real's survival in the top flight over the last few seasons has been down to their strength at home, because their form away from the Anoeta stadium has been atrocious. They are available at 13/5 (3.60) to record what seems an unlikely victory. A draw is a 12/5 (3.40) shot with William Hill.
Having lost their last five matches on the road, Philippe Montanier's side have gone 12 away games without a win, and their form this season gives us little reason to believe this run will end any time soon, making the 21/20 (2.05) the most appealing bet in this fixture.Valladolid meanwhile, have won two of their four matches at home this season, but in recent weeks they have showed themselves to be a competitive outfit, and in the 6-1 thrashing of Rayo Vallecano last month, they displayed some fine finishing.
With Sociedad missing some key players winning at the Estadio Jose Zorilla will be quite an ask, and cautious punters are likely to be tempted by the price of 1/2 (1.50) for Valladolid "Draw No Bet", where your stake would be returned should the game end all square.
Yet the price of 21/20 (2.05) is too tempting to resist on a home win, and punters willing to take a little bit more of a risk in backing Valladolid outright should be rewarded.
For a value bet, back Valladolid to come from behind to draw or win at 19/5 (4.80). This bet has paid out in two of their last three matches, and should Sociedad take the lead their lack of confidence on the road could well see them squander the advantage.
