Betting Special: Chelsea 5/6 to be Radamel Falcao's next club
After Goal.com exclusively revealed that the Blues are preparing to bid for the Atletico Madrid striker, Paddy Power offer 5/6 that Falcao makes the move to Stamford Bridge
Goal.com's latest transfer exclusive revealed that Roman Abramovich is planning to activate Radamel Falcao's €60m (£48.1m) release clause and bring the in-form Colombia international to the Premier League.Paddy Power make Chelsea 5/6 (1.83) favourites to be Falcao's next club, while a move to Manchester City is priced at 4/1 (5.0).
Chelsea have already experienced Falcao's class first hand this season, he fired a first-half hat-trick against them in the European Supercup and has continued his prolific form in La Liga.As Goal.com's exclusive revealed, Atletico would have no option but to allow Falcao to discuss a move elsewhere if a club was to activate the buyout clause in his contract.
The Colombia international's goals for his country have also seen them climb into third place in the South American qualifying group and they look on course to compete at Brazil 2014.
Chelsea currently sit top of the Premier League with seven victories from their eight matches so far but with Fernando Torres failing to score regularly after his move from Liverpool, Falcao could be the striker to enable the Blues to compete with the likes of Manchester United and reigning champions Manchester City for the Premier League title.
Of the other destinations listed on Paddy Power's market, a move to Paris Saint-Germain is a 4/1 (5.0) shot, while Real Madrid and Barcelona are 7/1 (8.0) and 12/1 (13.0) respectively.
