Football League Treble
|
| Huddersfield |
VS
|
Leicester |
| Kick-off: 19:45 GMT |
|
| Tip: Over 2.5 goals at 4/5 (1.80) with Sportingbet |
Leicester City travel to Huddersfield on the crest of a wave after securing their first away win of the Championship season against Middlesbrough on Saturday. That result made it three wins on the bounce for Nigel Pearson's men. That was also their fourth away game that finished 2-1.
Simon Grayson's side will be no pushovers though, the newly promoted Terriers may have lost Jordan Rhodes but they have been in fine scoring form are flying high in the table. Over 2.5 goals has landed in four of their last five but they've also conceded in four of those matches.
The visitors have also seen plenty of goals in their recent matches too, with both teams scoring in four of their last five, likewise over 2.5 goals, at 4/5 (1.80) it's a solid start to the treble.
| Hull |
VS
|
Blackpool |
| Kick off: 19:45 GMT |
|
| Tip: Over 2.5 goals at 4/5 (1.80) with Sportingbet |
Hull's last match produced one of the shocks of the betting weekend as Steve Bruce's side were beaten 3-1 by Peterborough, the only side yet to claim a point in the Football League before Saturday's clash. There's a need to bounce back from that game and this fixture could be ideal.
Blackpool are suffering a minor blip themselves, back-to-back losses for Ian Holloway's side mean they've slipped out of the play-off places but are still in a strong position after eight games.
Hull have seen over 2.5 goals land in their last six games, scoring and conceding in all of those. Blackpool's stats reveal they have seen plenty of goals too, with 12 in their last three. Both bosses will demand a response from their respective sides and this game could an open, end to end cracker. 4/5 (1.80) on the overs line looks a good addition to the treble.
| Notts County |
VS
|
Stevenage |
| Kick-off: 15:00 GMT |
|
| Both Teams to Score at 7/10 (1.70) with Sportingbet |
Notts County are in an automatic promotion spot coming into this game and claimed a credible 1-1 draw against pre-season favourites Sheffield United on Saturday. That game was the fifth in six to see both teams score and Keith Curle's men won't have it all their own way when Stevenage come to the East Midlands.
The visitors' games have been full to the brim with goals, a 2-2 draw with Bury at the weekend extended a run of nine consecutive matches which have seen both sides score at least once.
Stevenage are in good form in terms of results as well though, unbeaten in five and into fifth in the league so they'll come into this match with plenty of confidence. The 7/10 (1.70) on offer with Sportingbet for both sides to score looks like a good final bet.
