Having backed the Red Devils' win over Liverpool last weekend, he is now siding with Sir Alex Ferguson's side to complete a comfortable win against Tottenham
The Gunners begin proceedings with a lunchtime game against Chelsea. Arsene Wenger’s side are coming off an excellent performance away at Manchester City and a 6-1 victory over Coventry in the League Cup midweek will have no done harm to the confidence whatsoever. They will be facing a Chelsea side that have not won an away game against teams of Arsenal's grading for over six matches.
With this in mind Arsenal look reasonable value and they can be backed -0.25 goals on the Asian Handicap at 17/20 (1.85) with bet365. This means should the game end a draw then you receive half of your stake back.
Aside from the match odds, there are a couple of outstanding stats in this game. There has not been a goal scored at Emirates Stadium before 25 minutes in all of Arsenal’s last 10 home games to teams of Chelsea’s standard.
In the case of the Blues, there has not been a goal scored in this period in six of their last 10 away to teams of Arsenal’s quality. This would suggest a very tight opening to the match is in store.
No goal to be scored before 28 minutes can be backed at 5/6 (1.83) with Bet 365 and this looks a reasonable option.
Later in the afternoon Andre Villas-Boas takes his improving Spurs side to face Manchester United who are now favourites to win the Premier League title.
It has been well documented that Spurs have a terrible record away at Old Trafford with United winning all of the last five head-to-head matches
Over the past three seasons Spurs have also had a poor record away to teams of Manchester United’s grading which reads won two, drawn one, lost seven, and all seven of these defeats were by two goals or more.
Manchester United have an excellent home record to teams of Spurs’ quality and their record reads won eight, drawn one, lost one and in these eight victories Manchester United won six of them by two goals or more.
Despite Spurs’ recent improvement it could pay to back a victory here for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side and the stats certainly suggest taking on the -1 goal handicap which can be backed at Evens (2.00) with bet365.
