Blackpool - Huddersfield Town Betting Preview: Back hosts to continue fine home run

Blackpool - Huddersfield Town Betting Preview: Back hosts to continue fine home run

Latest Lyon-Tottenham Betting Preview: Back both teams to score at the Stade de Gerland Previous

Ian Holloway's side come into the match with a perfect home record. Willie Duncan expects that run to remain intact and is backing a home win against Simon Grayson's Terriers

Blackpool will look to return to the top of the Championship table when the Seasiders welcome Huddersfield Town to Bloomfield Road for what looks likely to be an entertaining encounter on Monday evening.

Ian Holloway’s side boast a perfect home record this season coming into this fixture, the Seasiders having won all three of their Championship fixtures at Bloomfield Road thus far and they can be backed at 4/6 (1.67) with Bet365 to make it four wins from four on their home turf.

Simon Grayson’s side have made a solid start and will come into Monday’s meeting feeling confident, having secured three wins in their last four fixtures, most notably a 3-1 triumph against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough last time out.

This looks to be a far tougher assignment for the Terriers, though, and they are chalked up at 4/1 (5.0) with Bet365 to take full points from their trip to Bloomfield Road while Bet365 offer 11/4 (3.75) that Grayson’s men take a point from Monday’s fixture.

Free-scoring Blackpool have fired an impressive 12 goals in their three home matches this season with Tom Ince notching six goals in six appearances this term and will be hoping to continue that rich vein of form here, despite coming up a miserly Terriers defence which has conceded just five goals in six Championship outings.

With the hosts in such prolific form, it is unsurprising to see Bet365 offering just 7/10 (1.70) for three or more goals to be scored here while the same firm offer 5/1 (6.0) that the in-form Ince continues his personal scoring streak by bagging the opening goal of the game here.

Of course, Ince is not the only threat that the visitors will need to deal with and Nathan Delfouneso, who joined the Seasiders on loan from Aston Villa, is good value at 5/1 (6.0) with Bet365 to add to his impressive tally of two goals in three games while veteran striker Kevin Phillips, who is yet to get off the mark this term, can also be backed at 5/1 (6.0) with the same firm.

With such firepower at their disposal, Bet365’s 4/6 (1.67) quote on the Seasiders to win is outstanding value and should be snapped up accordingly here while Delfouneso, who netted a first half double in the 4-1 mauling of Middlesbrough last Tuesday is the value selection at a chunky 5/1 (6.0) to follow up with the first goal of the game on Monday.
