thumbnail Hello,

While most eyes will be on World Cup qualifying this weekend, Willie Duncan believes that there is value to be had in League One and has picked out a tasty treble for Saturday

Hartlepool United
VS
Carlisle United
Kick off: 15:00BST
Tip: Hartlepool to win at 5/4 (2.25) with William Hill

Hartlepool United picked up their first win of the campaign when they ran out comfortable 2-0 winners against Scunthorpe United at Victoria Park last weekend and Neale Cooper will be hoping that his side can repeat that performance when they play host to Carlisle United on Saturday.

Pools have been desperately poor on the road this term, conceding seven goals without reply but their home form gives them hope ahead of this weekend's clash, having collected four points from two home matches while Cooper's men have yet to concede at Victoria Park this term.

Greg Abbott's Cumbrians have leaked eight goals in their four league meetings so far and Hartlepool's home record makes them worthy of support at 5/4 (2.25) with William Hill.

Swindon Town
VS
Leyton Orient
Kick off: 15:00BST
Tip: Swindon Town to win at 8/15 (1.53) with William Hill

Paolo Di Canio saw his side ripped apart by Preston North End last week but, until that blip, Swindon Town have been on song this season and can be trusted to bounce back in emphatic style against struggling Leyton Orient at the County Ground.

Russell Slade's side have managed just one league goal in three matches thus far this term and were mercilessly thumped by a second-string Everton side at Goodison Park in the League Cup, the Toffees eventually winning 5-0 having led 4-0 at the half-time interval.

The free-flowing nature of Swindon's play means that they are sure to create problems for Orient's sluggish defensive unit and Di Canio's men should be backed at 8/15 (1.53) with William Hill to produce the goods here.

Scunthorpe United
VS
Sheffield United
Kick off: 15:00BST
Tip: Sheffield United to win at even money (2.0) with William Hill

Scunthorpe United manager Alan Knill revealed how he was lucky to escape serious injury earlier this week after a scrape involving a squirrel but Knill's Irons will be fortunate if they escape unscathed from the visit of Danny Wilson's Sheffield United side on Saturday.

Scunthorpe are on a dreadful run of form, having lost their last six matches and they face a difficult test against the Blades this weekend. Wilson's side are unbeaten in four League One meetings so far this term and fired five past Bournemouth last weekend so will feel confident of extending their good run.

The Blades may still be looking for their first away win of the League One season but they can be trusted to get it here by seeing off struggling Scunthorpe at Glanford Park - an even money (2.0) chance with William Hill.
