Andrea Stramaccioni's side have their sights set on European football and Willie Duncan expects them to pick up another three points when they face Delio Rossi's men
With six matches remaining of the Serie A season, both of these teams find themselves at opposite ends of the table but both still have a lot at stake.
Fiorentina are just three points clear of the relegation zone and victory over Inter would go a long way to securing their future in Italy’s top flight. Delio Rossi’s side are chalked up at 9/5 (2.80) with Bet365 to grab a vital three points on Sunday.
Inter have had a disappointing season by their standards. Nevertheless, despite suffering from a chronic lack of form at times this term, they currently sit just two points short of the Europa League qualification places.
The visitors will not have entirely given up hope of a top-three finish and Champions League qualification as they sit only six points adrift of third-placed Lazio. Inter are rated as a 6/4 (2.50) shot with Bet365 while the same firm price the draw up at 9/4 (3.25).
As has often been the case this season, Diego Milito was Inter’s hero in their last outing, the Argentine international bagging two goals to see off Siena. Milito has an impressive 20 strikes this term and it is little surprise to see him heading Bet365’s first scorer market at 15/4 (4.75).
Fiorentina secured a shock win at San Siro against Inter’s city rivals Milan two weeks ago but that was their only win in their last seven matches and they will look for another big performance here.
The home side's hopes will largely rest with striker Stevan Jovetic, who represents the visitors’ biggest goal threat and is chalked up at 11/2 (6.50) with Bet365 to score first.
Inter, though, have the bit between their teeth as they pursue European football and the 6/4 (2.50) quote for them to win represents the best bet here.
