Jurgen Klopp's side have been in terrific form but they will face a stiff test against Jupp Heynckes' men and Willie Duncan does not expect the visitors to leave empty-handed
Dortmund have not lost a domestic fixture since September and have now gone an incredible 23 matches without suffering a loss in the league but they will face, arguably, their stiffest test yet on Wednesday when Bayern Munich make the trip from Bavaria.
Sportingbet find it virtually impossible to separate the pair ahead of this clash, with Dortmund very narrow favourites at 8/5 (2.60) to beat Bayern.
The visitors are chalked up as a 33/20 (2.65) shot to become just the second team to beat Dortmund on their home turf in the Bundesliga this season. The draw is rated as an 11/5 (3.20) chance.
Polish striker Robert Lewandowski has been a key cog in Dortmund’s well-oiled machine, scoring 19 Bundesliga goals so far this term. Sportingbet make the striker a 5/1 (6.0) chance to add to that impressive tally with the opening goal of the game on Wednesday.
Bayern Munich’s attack will most likely be led by highly-rated German international Mario Gomez. Gomez has been in sublime form for his club, having notched an astonishing 39 goals in 43 appearances for the Bavarian giants this term.
It is no surprise, then, that Gomez heads up Sportingbet’s first goalscorer market at 4/1 (5.0). Bayern, though, are not entirely dependent on Gomez to fire them to victory.
Former Chelsea man Arjen Robben priced up at 6/1 (7.0) with Sportingbet to net the opener while France international Franck Ribery can be backed at 7/1 (8.0) with the same firm to score first.
With such a wealth of attacking talent at Jupp Heynckes disposal, the 10/11 (1.91) quote from Sportingbet for Bayern Munich to score first looks to be excellent value while the same firm offer 17/20 (1.85) for the visitors in the draw/no bet market.
