Saturday

Arsenal - West Ham

Match Odds: Arsenal 1.17, Draw 8.04, West Ham

The Gunners flexed their muscles last week overpowering ten-man Manchester City. With twelve goals in their last three games Arsenal are hitting form at just the wrong moment as far as West Ham are concerned. Avram Grant's Hammers could be in for an, erm, hammering.

Little point in backing Arsenal in the three way @ 1.17 so a handicap of -2 looks much more inviting @ 1.87.

Blackburn Rovers - Chelsea

You can back your bottom dollar that Big Sam Allardyce will set out to frustrate Chelsea. Rovers are a tough side to beat at the worst of times and aren't in the habit of losing two on the spin. Our top tipster Pete Nordsted has called a draw in this one and we aren't going to argue with somebody who makes a profit every weekend. The two most recent games between these sides ended in a draw.

Match Odds: Blackburn 8.29, Draw 4.50, Chelsea 1.46

Everton - Stoke City

Everton have made yet another poor start to the league season but are bouncing back. Stoke were eliminated from the League Cup in midweek and are on a losing run which stretches to three games. Both games last season ended in draws but a resurgent Everton should nick the three points at Goodison Park.

Match Odds: Everton 1.56, Draw 4.07, Stoke 7.06

Fulham - Wigan

Practically level pegging in the table we can expect a fierce contest in London. Fulham are without a win in five matches and Wigan are a Jekyll and Hyde side. A low scoring home win looks on the cards with under 2.5 goals @ 2.01.

Match Odds: Fulham 1.90, Draw 3.63, Wigan 4.55

Wolves - Manchester City

Being spanked by Arsenal has done the Citizens title chances precious little good. Carlos Tevez is out for a fortnight and without his attacking threat City will struggle to break down Mick McCarthy's Wolves. Without a win in six EPL games the home side will pack the midfield and look to grind out a point. A double chance on Wolves checks out @ 2.10 with under 2.5 goals a shorter 1.83.

Match Odds: Wolves 5.20, Draw 3.64, Man City 1.80

Manchester United - Tottenham

Spurs have a dreadful record against Manchester United failing to win any of the last 25 matches. At Old Trafford you need to wind the clock to the pre-Premier League era for the last Spurs win in 1989. United, for all their so called problems, remain unbeaten and should have too much savvy for a Spurs team with one eye on next week's Champions League clash with Inter. In form forward Javier Hernandez is a worthwhile 2.0 to score during the 90 minutes.

Match Odds: Manchester United 1.61, Draw 4.21, Tottenham 6.09

Sunday

Aston Villa - Birmingham

The Midlands derby isn't one for the faint hearted. New Villla manager Gerard Houllier has a good record in derbies while his opposite number Alex McLeish does not. Villa have won the last six derby games but aren't scoring many goals with just one in over four hours of football. Birmingham's figures aren't impressive either with just four goals in their last six league games. Villa should nick it...just. Expect to see a few cards in this game too.

Match Odds: Aston Villa 1.84, Draw 3.48, Birmingham 5.24

Newcastle - Sunderland

Further up in the north east we have the Tyneside derby which won't win any beauty contests for attractive football. Newcastle were taught a lesson by Arsenal in midweek in the League Cup being thrashed 4-0 at home. All of that will be forgotten if the Geordies can take three points against their local rivals. A tense draw, just like their last clash at St James, is nicely priced indeed. Both teams to score looks good too @ 1.70.

Match Odds: Newcastle 2.21, Draw 3.32, Sunderland 3.76

Bolton - Liverpool

We'll see if Liverpool's mini revival continues in Bolton. Unbeaten in six home league matches the hosts have been vastly more impressive than the Reds this season. Fernando Torres doesn't score many away from Anfield and he will have his work cut out on Sunday. Bolton to score first @ 2.10 looks good considering Liverpool's wafer thin confidence.

Match Odds: Bolton 3.49, Draw 3.40, Liverpool 2.28

Monday

Blackpool - West Brom

A Championship game last season features two of England's most entertaining managers - Ian Holloway and Roberto di Matteo. The Baggies are playing lovely stuff and unlike their last stint in the top flight are winning points as well as friends. Blackpool have done better away from home and will know this match represents their best chance of nailing three home points. The last four games between these teams have gone over 2.5 goals and more of the same looks on the cards in what should be a quality match.

Match Odds: Blackpool 2.93, Draw 3.39, West Brom 2.61

Over 2.5 goals @ 1.98
