Bet Of The Day: Tips From Brazil, Germany And Spain

Plenty of value available in today's clashes...

Gomez, Cascon, Borja, Bejar, Alcorcon, Real Madrid (MARCA)
Spain's Copa del Rey is back on the agenda for the second round of matches. None of La Liga's big shots have yet dipped their toes in the water but you will surely recognise some of the names playing today.

First up we have Alcorcon, who famously thrashed Real Madrid 4-0 last season in the competition. They take on Celta Vigo. Both teams ply their trade in the Spanish Segunda Division with Alcorcon just up from the Segunda B.

Over the weekend the newly promoted side drew their opener away to Albacete while Celta were beaten at home by the Barcelona B team. Including games towards the end of last season, Celta have lost four of their last five competitive matches.

The home side are well priced to record their first win of the season at the compact Santo Domingo stadium.

Match odds: Alcorcon 2.51, Draw 3.05, Celta Vigo 2.68

If you fancy a repeat of the 4-0 hammering of Real Madrid, that scoreline is checking out at 81.0.

Switching to Brazil, Gremio Prudente play host to Botafogo. Until their recent 1-0 loss to Internacional the away side had been in red-hot form, winning their previous five games and conceding just one goal along the way.

The same can't be said for Gremio Prudente, who hover above the relegation zone. Gremio Prudente have recorded just one win in 10 but did scrap out a 2-2 draw with Ceara last time out where they were undone by a late goal.

Gremio won the corresponding game 3-0 last season and the two most recent matches between the pair have gone over 2.5 goals. Both teams have plenty to play for as Botafogo are pushing for a Copa Libertadores spot and Gremio Prudente are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. Both sides should get on the mark.

Match Odds: 2.74, Draw 3.06, Botafogo 2.35

Under 2.5 goals - 1.74/Over 2.5 goals - 1.97

Both teams to score - 1.80

The so called 'banker' of the day should occur in Germany's Regionalliga South, where Freiburg II meet FSV Frankfurt II. FSV have picked up just a single point in four games and scored one goal to remain bottom. Freiburg II are slightly better with five points from four games but certainly know where the goal is, having racked up 63 last season to be joint top scorers in the division. They have scored five in their two home matches so far.

Match Odds: Freiburg II 1.50, Draw 3.75, FSV Frankfurt II 5.50

Over 2.5 goals - 1.65

And finally, yesterday's match between Kamaz and Khimki which we flagged up was abandoned.
