Three Things We Learned About Betting From The Weekend: Six Is Good For You Plus The Bundesliga's Incredible Stalemate Record
Lots of stats and figures to take in after another fabulous few days of action...

* Six Is Good For You
Two weekends into the Premier League season and we've already had four 6-0 thrashings. By contrast there wasn't a single 6-0 scoreline throughout the entire 2009-10 campaign.
Chelsea remain the goalscoring kings, scoring a remarkable 29 goals in their last five EPL games. Next up for the Blues is Stoke City at Stamford Bridge, who they battered 7-0 at home last April. The Potters have lost their opening two games and could do without the trip to the league champions.
* Chelsea to beat Stoke City 6-0: 21.0
* Chelsea to beat Stoke City 7-0: 41.0
Both Arsenal and Newcastle also recorded 6-0 triumphs over the weekend. The Gunners travel to Blackburn and you would have to brave/stupid to back a 6-0 thumping over the former Premier League champions. They did smash six past Rovers last October, but Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has a good record against Arsenal, beating them several times when he was in charge of Bolton.
* Arsenal to beat Blackburn 6-0: 101.0
Match Odds: Blackburn Rovers 6.01, Draw 3.70, Arsenal 1.56
Newcastle travel to Wolves fresh off the back of a 6-0 hiding of Aston Villa. The clash with Wolves will likely be a tighter affair with the last two games finishing 1-1.
* Newcastle to beat Wolves 6-0: 301.0
Odds on 1-1 draw: 6.59

Our beloved Bundesliga returned over the weekend with some cracking games. Six of the nine matches went over 2.5 goals and there was just one draw among them, with Borussia Moenchengladbach and Nurnberg ending 1-1.
Goalless draws are as rare as hen's teeth in Germany's top flight. Up to and including last weekend there has been just one stalemate in the last 54 games, when Mainz and Schalke cancelled each other out on the final day of last season. Over in Italy there has been just one 0-0 in the past 33 games, when Napoli drew with Cagliari in late April. Italian and German football is boring? Never!

A week ago we flagged up the remarkable amount of goals being scored in Holland's Eredivisie. That trend continued over the weekend, with eight of the nine games going over 2.5 goals. So far 20 of the 27 games have been over the 2.5 mark.
Our signature tip of over 2.5 goals in the Friday night clash between Excelsior and NEC paid off with the newly promoted side winning 4-2. That set the tone for the weekend as seven of the remaining games went over 2.5, with the 1-1 draw between Heracles and Feyenoord preventing a clean sweep.
Looking ahead to next week, top scorers PSV travel to Den Haag for the Sunday afternoon fixture. Both teams have gone over 2.5 goals in their opening three league fixtures and recent matches between the pair have finished 5-1 and 6-0 to PSV respectively.
