Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo has declared that his side are ready to take on Czech Republic in their Euro 2012 quarter-final on Thursday.

Ronaldo, who scored twice in the Seleccao's 2-1 victory over Netherlands on Sunday, issued the rallying cry on his Facebook account earlier today, posting the message: "We’re ready! We’re Portugal," with a picture of the Portuguese national team.

The Real Madrid man had been criticised after his country's first two games in which he failed to score, however, Ronaldo bagged a brace that helped eliminate the Oranje from the group of death.

Ronaldo came into the tournament after a successful season with Real Madrid scoring 46 league goals in a campaign which saw Los Blancos clinch the Liga title and now finds himself as the only Portuguese player to score in five major tournaments.
