Ahead of his country's final Euro 2012 group stage match against Germany, Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has hailed die Mannschaft for their strong squad, but singled out goalkeeper Manuel Neuer for praise.
Joachim Low's side have been widely acclaimed for their impressive cast of talent going forward, but the Coventry City keeper feels that the former Schalke man is the most impressive player at the 52-year-old's disposal.
"They've got good players everywhere, every position, so we've got to be on top of our game to beat them," Schmeichel told Goal.com. "But, as a goalkeeper, I think their best player is Manuel Neuer."
Germany have taken three points in both of their matches thus far, having beaten Netherlands 2-1 on Wednedsay following their 1-0 win against Portugal in last Saturday's opener. But the Nationalelf have neither won their group nor secured advancement to the quarter-finals, and have as much to play for as Denmark.
Heading into the match, winger Michael Krohn-Dehli believes the Danes will need fortune on their side if they are to book their spot in the knock-out rounds. But the Brondby man has pledged his side will do everything possible to tip the balance in their favour.
"You have to force your own luck," he told Goal.com. "If you go for it, you will sometimes get lucky: making the right runs in the box and sometimes taking a shot when you have a chance instead of passing the ball.
"We still have a chance to progress in the group, and of course we'll try to take it."
Denmark's clash with Germany will take place in Lviv and kicks off on Sunday at 20:45CET.
