Poll of the Day: What was the best moment of Euro 2012 Matchday Two?

After the second round of group games, the battle to be crowned European champions is intensifying, but what have been the highlights of the recent matches?
With the second lot of Euro 2012 fixtures now out of the way, the groups are beginning to take shape as we head towards the knockout stages of the competition.

But, we want to know what has been your favourite moment of matchday two?

Group A got us going in fine style with Jakub Blaszczykowski’s thundering strike to equalise for Poland against Russia, sparking wild celebrations from the co-hosts.

Denmark and Portugal gave us goals galore in Group B. A thrilling match saw Portugal take a two-goal lead, before being pegged back by the Danes. A late strike by Silvestre Varela, however, saw his side pick up all three points.

Talking of superb goals, Andrea Pirlo was at it again for Italy. He may be heading towards the end of his international career but there was nothing wrong with his opening goal against Croatia - a trademark free kick from distance.

The final group saw thunder and lightning as France took on Ukraine in a stormy match. Meanwhile the fireworks were provided by England in their game against Sweden. Another thriller was capped off with Danny Welbeck’s delightful finish to grab victory for Roy Hodgson's men.

Of course we have also seen Fernando Torres bag a double as Republic of Ireland were swept aside, disaster for Netherlands as they lost again and the Czech Republic stunning Greece with two goals in the opening six minutes of their clash.
