Evra: France's difficult games have yet to come
Despite already having faced the Three Lions, the full-back feels that more complicated tasks lie in store as they have yet to come up against Ukraine and Sweden
France defender Patrice Evra has taken a dig at England in the wake of the 1-1 draw between the two sides, stating that the difficult games for Les Bleus have yet to come.
The Manchester United full-back had already hit out at the Three Lions for their supposed negative approach during Monday’s game.
And Evra has now stated that he expects co-hosts Ukraine to pose a larger threat in their next group game.
"Everyone has just been talking about France and England but I think now, the difficult games, they are coming," Evra was quoted as saying on the official Fifa website.
"We play against Ukraine at their home and it is not going to be easy. But I think maybe Ukraine will play more football [than England] and maybe we will get more space."
Ukraine started Euro 2012 with a 2-1 win over Sweden courtesy of an Andriy Shevchenko double and sit atop of Group D with three points.
France lock horns with Sweden on June 19 after Friday's match versus the co-hosts.
